Not at all, but it is so much better! :) I wanted to go to Notre Dame, but no money and lazy academics, both on me, kept me from that, but it's all good. At the time family priorities needed me at home anyway. I wanted to be a CFO somewhere with no kids and lots of money. Well I have 5 kids and no money and a husband that I adore and he adores me back so life is so much better then my dream.

right now I would say I have that about 50% right. I am a wife and mother and I currently stay-at-home with them which is what I dreamed about as a kid. However I never dreamed I would want more and now I'm at a crossroads where I am trying to figure out if I want a career once they enter school or just a job that offers part-time hours and flexibility.

Ihad many different dreams-but I never imagined how awesome my life would really be. I dreamed of beng a wife and mom-and that dream came true. As a young teen I wanted to become a hairdresser, never did that. In high schol dreamed of being a news reporter and studied Journalism in college, but a Foods minor, because by that time I wanted to write for women's magaines. Then I got married and moved to a small town where DH got a good job, but there were really no opportunities for me, so I made the best of what was available. I worked for a nespaper for awhile, then had my two kids and was a stay-at-home mom until DH became disabled. I opened a restaurant and went back to school to become a chef, later taught at Culinary school. My path took a strange route, but it allowed me to support my family and have some great experiences. Things change, you have to change with hem.

I have a bestselling novel under my belt, but I have lived many of my dreams.

I got everything I dreamed of but now am loosing it all to poverty due to disability. No one to talk to because they say I am looking for pity or am a needy person. Wow what happened to someone just being a friend or family. No one cares. Just my boys. Thank God I have them.
