This is going to be our 1st pinewood derby with our son, a tiger cub.

Does anyone know of websites that give examples of different looks for the cars?  I have been looking so that he can see what he may want to make and can't find any.  Our race is Feb 21st and dad leaves for a trip on sunday and won't be back till the 15th.  So we are hopeing to get the cutting done before he goes.

Please if anyone know some site, please post them.

Thanks,

Dana

If you google "pinewood derby", you'll get a whole bunch of sites with tips and pictures.

Here are pix of my son's last 3 cars:

thank you so much for helping me out.  My hubby googled and my son picked out his designs.

I really appreciate your help...being a first timer, it is hard to figure these things out.

Go to Flickr.com and search for Pinewood Derby. A lot of scouts have posted photos of their cars and some have posted photos of their whole pack. You'll find lots of ideas.

I grabbed a few (that are marked Creative Commons, which means people don't mind sharing) for my Cub Scout blog. There was this really neat one that they painted green and put little people on, like they're hiking. Check out my blog to see it - link below.
