Kind of yes, Monterery Bay CA, we dont live in that town but get alot of the traffic to and from.

It feels likes the population on the Gulf Coast at least doubles between Halloween and Easter, so I would say yes.

I live someplace full of snowbirds between October and April, not exactly a tourist trap though.

I live in the nation's capital city.   But this place can be touristy to some degree, but not a tourist trap at all.

We get vacationers here in the summer..they come for fishing, camping, boating..its not many people but we go from 3,000 to 10,000 during the season
