Acid reflux, can't eat! Hurting the baby?

So I found out I do have acid reflux. It's been horrible. I haven't been able to keep anything down without my chest and throat burning. Save applesauce.

It's horrible. That's all I've been eating. This isn't hurting the baby is it? I was able to manage a turkey sandwich today :) yay

Been eating tums but jeez it doesn't seem to be doing well in the nausea department. Nothing helps there except phenegran.

Anyone else? Is this not being able to eat much hurting my baby?

Ask your ob if prilosec or prevacid is safe.. prilosec works lovely for my chronic GERD. Also.. phenegren works heavenly too :)

I am sorry, I so understand how you feel! The good news is you are not hurting your baby, s/he will take everything from you first. Talk to your ob about what you can take for this!

Baby will take what it needs from u wether you eat or not. You want to keep sippin on water though so you don't get dehydrated.

Agree with the above, and try sipping a bit of pickle juice. I thought it was crazy, but it actually worked. Good luck!
