When you think something special and creative in nature, you think something that is within your range of capabilities and you start to think of your home first. We all are habituated using various kinds of soaps like foam soap, liquid soap or it might be the solid shapes. But it is rare to think about where they come from and how they are made. Also very few of us think about preparing the soap by our own hand.

Yes, this is nothing big deal. You can easily make a foam soap in your house. But you should have a clear idea about the hygiene and which proportion will result what. Because if you use the wrong proportion of the ingredients required to make the soap, then it is going to be abortive. So, at least have an idea about the normal and natural ingredients needed to make any soap prior you make it yourself.

The ingredients you have to use or will be needed -

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Liquid Castile Soap, or your favorite natural soap (2-3 tablespoons)
  • Distilled, purified, or filtered water
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil
  • Empty, clean foaming soap dispenser
  • 1/2 teaspoon moisturizing oil or 1-2 vitamin E capsules or 1/2 tsp oil or 1 tsp vegetable glycerin,  optional (In general – vitamin E, almond oil, or vegetable glycerin)
  • 5 drops tea tree oil

The necessary directions to be followed -

  • Firstly, your soap dispenser is to be filled about 3/4 full with water.
  • Now, you can understand which can be the suitable next step to be relevant with the step one.  It is nothing but  adding the Castile soap to fill the rest of the bottle, leaving some room at the top for the pump to fit.
  • Now it is time for your taste. Add lavender and tea tree oils. Add moisturizing oil, if using.
  • Cover dispenser with pump and shake well to combine the oils and soap with the water.
  • Depending on hard water or soft water you can make a variety in proportions.

YOU ARE DONE……..ENJOY……………..

My laundry soap is the same way. It says to use that Castile soap but I use dove in all scents. Lol which ever I feel like buying that day. I have everything on the list to make this too! I hate buying soap. Do you think this would be good for body wash?
