Because I own a few shirts, three pairs of pants, about 12 pair of socks, 4 bras, 5 pair of undies, and not planning to buy more until I have to (13 weeks pregnant). When I left the house with black mold I had to leave all of my clothing behind. I replaced the kids stuff. Wasn't worried about mine.

Really why?

Quoting ColleenF30:

In a basket for right now. All the clothes I own fit into one basket.

Hey, I'm alive and the kids have nothing bad and lasting from it. I call that win win. As long as my kids are okay I'll be fine. At least now I know what it is and my body reacts fast to it to tell me when I am exposed.

1 mom liked this

I live in an apartment so I store everything in moms basement. I bag it up throughout the year and then take it to moms, since she owns and isn't moving soon. Now I'm having another baby so I go through the clothes and bring back what I need until next time. It works for me. We are looking to buy a house though so I'll have to come up with a system soon, but I'll still probably take some stuff to my moms in case my brother needs them for his kids, and let them get first dibs and then take the rest to the Salvation Army. Its important to me keep my house clutter free.
