The Venting Booth The Venting Booth

inappropriate or just simply innocent Mom pics?

I was out in the beautiful weather w the kiddos today. Pulled out the turtle pool. Filled w water. Didn't want to change them into suits so I let 4 yr old take off shoes and go on in his shorts. The 2 yr old though had a diaper on and if anyone has experienced a nasty sticky explosion from these new diapers.... No fun. So I took it off and pulled up her shorts. Next thing I knew... She was enjoying nature by being naked. I was gonna put shorts back on but decided "no...we live way out in the Country and no one around" so I let her air out and stay naked. Our Mare came up to the fence and the 2 yr old ran up to her to pet. With my 2 yr olds backside showing, I took cute pics of her looking at our horse.. I sent pics to my sister, best friend and my 3 older children (non would share this photo with anyone else).. With the title: "it's a naked kind of day".. All replies were positive like funny or cute or oh geez :) except the one from my sister who said it was " totally inappropriate". my Bf said she took same sorta pics today of her kids (minus horse) & said.. That's what moms do. What do you all think? If we lived in city like my sister does with hundreds of families living in her gated community..with lots of eyes.. Then maybe I wouldn't let her run around naked.. But for God sake, other than our animals, the birds, her brother and I (& God) no one else was around...

I think the pictures sound adorable. People are way too uptight

I see nothing wrong with what you are describing! I have a few pictures of my Ds naked pushing a toy cement truck. He even peed in the little part that the "cement" is supposed to run down. I thought it was hilarious. Only my mother, MIL, DH, and FIL have seen the pictures. Your sister is definitely over reacting!

I think most all "normal" parents have a pic or two of their kids running free.

I wouldnt stress, just dont send her anymore.

This is like the mom who got the cops called on her for taking pictures of her daughters playing in a towel after they got out of the shower. Ugh..

When it's genuine family, and the kids aren't old enough to have developed any idea of sexual ANYTHING, who cares?

I send pictures of my DD in the bath to my family all the time. Granted, she is only 4months old but it's the same principal I think. There's videos of me when I was like 6 or 7 naked in the shower playing with toys with my 3 or 4 yr old  little sister and I don't think it's weird.

Just dont share with her anymore if its that serious to her. Its just a child & not like u placed them on facebook or anything. Really overreacting. Sounds totally innocent

Lots of mommas take naked bootie pics of their babies. Sadly we are not in a day and age where sharing those pics is appropriate. In fact if you try and have a store print them out for you you can actually get turned into child services for child porn.

I dont think they are bad. just need to be handled with discretion.
