So I was watching one of those true crime TV shows and one of the girls claimed to be a victim of "cyber rape". This term really pissed me off. I think it is pretty insulting to rape victims. What do you think?

There has to be physical contact for it to be rape. I don't even get this, at all. Found this as the definition: www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=cyber% 20rape

Says it's just messages, which one person doesn't want.

That is not rape. That's harrassment..

What, exactly, was she calling cyber rape? Did someone cyber with her against her will or was it something more?

That sounds like sexual harassment not rape.

So silly! What an insult to real rape victims in real life.

That's sexual harassment or stalking, not rape.

I wouldn't consider that rape.
