I personally would of talked to their biological father before calling the police and kickstarting an investigation.

KIDS say anything! my sister was snooping in my room and found my contracetive pills and ( we think) swallowed some. they was well hidden in a bag inside a bag inside another bag on my bedpost. when the packet was found on her bed she told my mum that i had given them to her.

i have endless examples i could give you from multiple kids. Its too late to talk to him now though.

after their interview the police will go about their investigation and will then either call or visit you for updates etc. If necessary the kids might need to be asked a few more questions at a later date.

did you talk to the younger brother? what was his side of the story? I'm not saying your kids are liars.. but you know its a possibility.

How rude are you?! you say this woman is not a good enough parent to teach her children boundaries yet you speak to peole like this? when you think of poor parenting skills i think you need to start looking a little closer to home love, because soemone quite clearly went wrong somewhere along the line with you.

Quoting Anonymous: So someone else's children were being bad snooping little brats just because you weren't a good enough parent to teach your children boundaries and not to steal? Btw you said teenager, 13 not 11 and being forced to watch something or shown something. If her child had "snooped" I don't think he would randomly rat hisself out.
Quoting Anonymous:

My now 16 year old snooped in our room and took a DVD of porn into his room and watched porn at the age of 13. My porn and toys were in my closet in a hope chest. I thought they'd be safe.I guess the cops should of been called on me.

I found out when I went looking for a DVD in sons room that he had took from the family collection.

Honestly it sounds like your kids were snooping I highly doubt a grown man would show his kids porn at that age.

If it truly happen I'm sorry.

I have talked to his lil brother and he confirms that their dad was showing them porn. My son was in tears when he came to us and myself as.a victim of being molested as a young child. I have to stand beside my boys. I talked to both of them seperately and they both have the same story. Why and how would they come up with the same story? Right now as it stands its just allegations thats until they go and talk to child protective services. Im going to belive my children over any person until they are proven wrong. And yes I have talked to them about how important it is about being truthful about issues like this and how much trouble a person can get into for claims as this.

I didn't mean to sound horrible or anything. I just know enough kids to know that sometimes they tell a few lies.

What did the police say? did they search his apartment? I hope that this is the only time that this has happened.

what the fuck is wrong with people... I'm sorry you and your kids are going through this.

What I understand is CPS takes kids away puts them in a foster home. That's usually what happens.

why would CPS take her children away? SHE isnt the one who has been showing them porn. The children are perfectly safe in her care. its the fathers care they are not safe in.

My 10 yr SD (10 at the time) was caught looking at porn on her tablet and phone. My own DD saw it as well. The therapist my DD was going to at the time said not to make too big a deal out of it. Explain to them why its not the norm, sex is for people who love each other blah blah blah. So, she basically said the bigger deal we make, the more they'll wanna look at it again. We've since made sure they cannot view it anymore.

This is different, it sounds more like a type of sexual abuse. The dad may just be dumb, and thought he was giving a lesson about sex, but it sounds abusive to me.
