Health issue much worse than I thought

For once in my life I thought things were finally happening and going right direction. I was way off. I have been experiencing health issue with my fingers turning colors. It took 4 weeks for a doctor to tell me exactly what is going on! The results were not quite what I expected or wanted to hear. They say I developed gangrene and the cause most likely from smoking. I am now smoke free for 2 weeks so I am on right path. I just don't understand why all of a sudden and it came on so fast.

My plan is I am going to beat this condition. I have the strength and heal up very well. Smoke free 18 days now, that so awesome and is helping me heal. Still do a lot of praying but will get through it.

1 mom liked this

My friend was told the same thing - either stop smoking or risk losing her finger(s).  I don't think she called it gangrene, though, but is likely the same thing.  I am glad you following your doctor's advice (as did my friend) and quit smoking. =)
