Wow She Just Has No Motherly Instincts At All!

My resident cat that is.  She can handle dogs in her house, but if you bring another cat, especially a kitten into the house, she goes into full on kill mode.

Wow.  Scary.  I was playing kitten sounds on my computer this morning and she just kept walking around growling, trying to find it and kill it!

Some cats don't like other cats. That has nothing to do with motherly instinct.

There are some cats who do not like other cats. She may have maternal instincts but feel overly protective of you as her owner.

Some cats are like that. They are solitary hunters by nature. Just don't get another cat until this one passes on.
