I worked at McDonald's for 12 years now and was a kitchen department manager there. I started working there at 16 and I started out as a crew member. I put in my 2 weeks notice and today was my last day there. I'm planning on going to college and wanted to pursue a career in nursing. Starting tomorrow I will be a SAHM and I will start college this Spring my daughter will be in school while I attended classes. My husband makes good money as a police officer and we will be okay even it's down to one income right now. I always wanted to be a nurse and I should of have started sooner but it's never too late.

wonderful, you can get a head start by learning the terminology and practices online while you wait so as to not be a total newbie. Another option if you have time visit hospitals and nursing homes a lot to see and learn. Look forward, here is a testing site for all types of careers    Brainbench  https://www.brainbench.com/  Take care

personally, I don't think that police officers get paid nearly enough!  But yay you!  I hope you succeed in your new adventure!

It's never too late, and you are still young.

Congratulations to you. Enjoy it.
