9 Craziest Places People Admit to Eating Breakfast

Posted by Jeanne Sager on February 29, 2012 at 9:04 AM

breakfastHow many times have you heard breakfast is the most important meal of the day? At least a million, right? Maybe a gazillion. Funny. None of us really seem to treat it that way.

Here we all are, going about our daily lives, cramming the "most important meal" into our traps while we do 65 on the way to work ... or worse, in the bathroom, right after teeth brushing but before eye liner application. Oh don't lie, you've done it. Or a variation of it (slumped on the couch watching Good Morning America while you spoon cereal in counts too). But before you start feeling all guilty and hit up Pinterest for some fancy schmancy table settings for that unused breakfast nook to redeem yourself, do not despair! There are people out there who have eaten the big meal in much crazier places than you! And yes ... that important meal still got them through the day.

Behold some of the strangest places people have munched their toast and waffles:

On a roof -- well, I suppose you can't see the sunrise from the dining room.

In the middle of the Sahara Dessert around a campfire, surrounded by camels, next to our Bedouin tent made of rugs -- I do hope none of those camels spit!

At Chuck E. Cheese -- folks, we know kids nap, but is it necessary to plan birthday parties this early in the morning?

At a drive-through that required you to place your order by talking to a giant bagel -- perhaps it should have had a warning that your breakfast would be smaller than it appeared?

Eating a muffin as I walked around the parking lot at the doctor's office to try and get my unborn baby start wiggling around for an ultrasound -- darn kids!

My husband and I used to eat breakfast in the infusion center while i was getting chemo... Not exactly romantic, but a little crazy -- and all the better because she's cancer-free!

In a kayak during an Alaskan rain storm -- am I the only one who got cold just thinking about that?

In a deer-stand, where breakfast consisted of a Pop Tart heated by my dad over a Sterno -- now that is the definition of roughing it!

In a car outside the hotel we weren't staying in because it had a complimentary breakfast bar and ours didn't ... so we snuck in and snuck out -- shame, shame!

These certainly beat my "over the sink so I didn't get crumbs on my work clothes," how about you? Where is the nuttiest place you tried to fit in breakfast?

I never really thought about it. I guess it was when I visited my sister in the hospital. She didn't want her food.

I've went to the hospital for no other reason then to have breakfast at the cafeteria.

The only place I can think of is on the back of my DH's motorcycle. We were late for an appointment.

I don't know the strangest place - maybe walking around in Greece trying to find our way to the ferries?
