I love my crockpot, especially on cold Winter days when there's an aroma of comforting food filling the house all during the day. Such a time saver. What do you like to make in yours? Share recipes too.

Easy Roast

This is a quick and tasty way to make roast!

3-4 lb beef roast
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1-2 can stewed tomatoes

Place roast into slow cooker cover with onion soup and tomatoes. cover and cook on low 8 hrs

Cream Cheese Chicken

4 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 pkg. dry Italian salad dressing
1 can condensed chicken soup
8 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup chicken broth

minced onion
optional - celery and carrots---

pour chicken broth in bottom of crock pot, then add the chicken. drizzle melted butter over chicken and sprinkle with dry Italian dressing. add pepper to taste. I add carrots, celery and onion roughly chopped around the chicken for more veggies and taste.
cook low 6 hours. 45 minutes before done, mix soup and cream cheese (melt in microwave for a few minutes to combine until smooth). add mixture to crock pot and continue cooking on low for 30-45 minutes.
I sever this over noodles. the sauce is rich and YUMMY!
