 First, I moved this post to general discussion because I thought that this was where it belonged, it isn't really an ad or blog.  This is a really good article, well its actually more like a top list of tips for keeping the communication lines open with your teen.  I am going to print them out and paste them on my bathroom mirror with #7 and #8 highlighted as a daily reminder to myself.  Thanks for posting it Nik.

Love th article.... in my case it makes me remember to be humble...it is so easy to forget your actual goal when everything turns into an argument... (TY Jo, for being my voice of reason at times).   I am going to work at this.
