The Cancellation Bear says Gracepoint will be cancelled.

"Gracepoint becomes the latest Fox show destined to feed the Cancellation Bear, it's certain to be canceled. That means, for those who choose not to read the rest of the text in the post, that the show will not be renewed for another season.

Many ask the bear if Fox would pull Gracepoint off the air early, before its ordered episodes air. They could, like ABC did with limited series Killer Women and The Assets. However, since it depends on Fox's available alternatives, which likely are only repeats of current Fall series, the bear thinks that is unlikely.

The Cancellation Bear still finds lots of confusion over what a "limited series" is. For reference, it's a show with a limited number of episodes per season (fewer than the typical 22 for a "full" broadcast season), not a limited number of seasons. If a limited series does well, it'll be renewed for another season (like Sleepy Hollow was). If it does badly, it's #bearchow. Note that the show Gracepoint is based on, Broadchurch, has been renewed for a second season. That's not going to happen with Gracepoint."

Just started watching this. His accent is great, but it doesn't even sound like him without it.

I thought the same thing but you get kind of use to it after a while. In Episode two his accent seems to be a little better, still very weird. Not as weird as his South African accent. There is a Doctor Who audio book (can't remember which one) he does a South African accent for one of the characters, it's kinda freaky.
