Our kids don't have one till middle school. We have a dress code, but no uniform.

Lucky lol. All grades do here, but it depends on the school.

We don't have one. A few years ago they brought it up but it never went anywhere. I wouldn't mind if they did.

I wish the elemantary schools had the same uniform policy as the middle and high schools do. They have to wear a polo, jeans/khakis, belt, socks, and shoes. The polos can have a logo as long as it is smaller than a quarter.

It would make buying school clothes cheaper and easier.

From what I've seen it really doesn't. We have double laundry because they wear school uniforms and regular clothes in one school day. Then when there's a growth spurt, double buying in uniforms and regular clothes.

None of the schools in our system has them. They have a dress code (no shorts shorter then 2inchs above your knees, no open toe shoes, no see Thur shirts, no tank tops, no shorts past thanksgiving holliday/or before spring break). Just to name a few.

My oldest son was in Catholic School from kindergarten to 8th grade. I LOVED the fact that they had to wear uniforms (he didn't like it).
My little one thats starting kindergarten in September doesn't have to wear uniform. I wish he did.
