 Clean Vegetables Easily

If your having trouble getting the dirt of your veggies wash them in salt water. It works great with leafy greens llike spinach.

Easy Egg Clean --up

Salting your eggs may not be good for your health----Unless the egg is on the floor. Pouring salt on top  of the eggs will make it easier to clean.

Protect Yourself from Grease Splatters

Add salt to the pan when you're cooking greasy foods like bacon, and the grease will be less likely to pop out of the pan and burn your hand.

Classic Tip

To revitalize artificial flowers, forget about using expensive cleaners. Just pour salt into a large paper bag, place the flowers inside petal-side down, shake vigorously. the dirt will dirt will be transfered to the salt.

 Frost Fix

 If your windows are frosting over, dissolve 1 tablespoon saalt in 1 gallon hot water and rub on the windows with a soft cloth. then wipe with a dry cloth. This will keep your windows frost free.

Wicker That Won't Age

To keep wicker from yellowing in the sun, bathe it in salt water while its new.

Hassle-free Spill Clean -Up

OOPs, that pan boiled over in the stove and there is a sticky mess every where. Easily clean any oven spill, sprinkle salt on top immediately after you noticing it. After a little while in the hot oven, the spill will turn to ash and it can easily be cleaned.

Chill Drinks Faster

because salt lowers the freezing point of water, your beverages will cool more quickly if you sprinkle salt into the cooler.

Safety Salt

Water should never,ever be thrown on a grease fire, because it will only spread it. If you happen to have a grrease or oil fire in the kitchen, throw salt on it until it extinguished. the salt absorbs the liquid that is causing the flames.

 Who Knew ?

Never sprinkle salt on red wine, coffee, tea, or cola spills. The salt will actually help set the stain.
