Bounce Back After Baby Challenge Day 7: Relax!

Do you feel like you are ALWAYS on-the-go? Today's challenge is to take some time for yourself and relax! I know. I know. Easier said than done, but I'm here to give you a few simple tips for finding quick ways to relieve stress throughout the day!


Take just a few minutes today and try one of these relaxation techniques.

  • Close your eyes, picture a peaceful place, and focus on controlled, relaxing breathing.
  • Tense and then relax all the muscle groups in your body, starting with your toes and working your way up to your head.
  • Take a visual journey through a calming place or situation and imagine using all of your senses to experience it.

How do you relax? Do you feel like stress causes you to lose your patience more frequently?

I listen to music and I run. Both are great to help me release stress.

I'm also decluttering the last few weeks. No clutter makes me MUCH less stressed.

I close my eyes and breath deep. Pretending I am not at work answering calls all day

I like to just lay in bed and read or play on facebook or online.

Stress tests my patience! I try to focus on my breathing and relax my muscles.

Breathing, Yoga, Exercise. Stress does cause me to be a little irritable.

I just read or listen to music and sit on my bed for a little while
