Bounce Back After Baby Challenge Day 7: Relax!

Posted by   + Show Post

Do you feel like you are ALWAYS on-the-go? Today's challenge is to take some time for yourself and relax! I know. I know. Easier said than done, but I'm here to give you a few simple tips for finding quick ways to relieve stress throughout the day!

Take just a few minutes today and try one of these relaxation techniques.

  • Close your eyes, picture a peaceful place, and focus on controlled, relaxing breathing.
  • Tense and then relax all the muscle groups in your body, starting with your toes and working your way up to your head.
  • Take a visual journey through a calming place or situation and imagine using all of your senses to experience it.

How do you relax? Do you feel like stress causes you to lose your patience more frequently?

Each mom who participates in all 10 days of the challenge will be entered to win a Welcome to the Club gift basket!

A good workout helps me relax (yoga, zumba, kettlebell). If I go more than a few days without a workout, it definitely takes a toll on my mood!

I relax by taking a shower. That's about it.

Once I dropped my son off at school I came home to relax instead of going out and running errands!

These are great ideas. I relax and read a book or watch a movie. Yes stress makes me more agitated at times and I don't have as much patience.
