Before my second baby, I had a really good work out routine in place. Three times a week, I attended a super fun cardio class where I had made some good friends and enjoyed the positivity of the instructor.
Fast-forward to today, I'm no longer attending that class. I just don't have the time, and the people I knew in the class have moved on to the next exercise fad.
Searching for some inspiration, I called my girlfriend and asked if she would want to be my work out buddy and me up. She just had a baby too and could relate to my problem.
We now walk our neighborhood in the evenings together. It's a chance to catch up and a chance to raise our heart rates for some much needed exercise. It might not be much, but we're getting there and having fun at the same time.
