What percentage of your income should you set aside for your child's college fund?

This is a great question! I would piggyback onto this and ask, what type of savings vehicle is best when you think about saving for a child's education? I know there are certain types of accounts, but are there conditions of which we should be wary when thinking about opening an education fund for our children?

How can I ensure my children will be financially taken care of if anything should happen to me and my husband? How do you figure out how much insurance is needed, and what type?
