I loved Solitaire too! I used to play go fish with my grandmother. That's about it! That was something we always did together. I know she tried to teach me other games too, but I don't remember which ones. :)
My mom and i played gin rummy, yahtzee(that was our favorite!), I remember playing solitaire, too. I used to go to my grandparents cabin during the summers in WV, and we played scrabble a lot too.
My grandfather taught me how to play 5 card stud poker and blackjack when I was 8. We would play it all the time when we were together. Probably not the best choices of games to teach me that young, but it definitely paid off when I went to Vegas a few years ago! lol
Yahtzee was a big one at my Mamaw's on holidays! I loved Skip-Bo, Life, Stratego, and Dominoes. As for computer games, I loved some educational tree house game, Chip's Challenge, and Tetris!
