Homeschooling in Akron?

Hi, I'm new to cafemoms but like to talk to someone about homeschooling. I recently submitted my homeschool notification form and set up an appointment with a certified teacher to do my son's assessment. So do I wait til the school board repsonds to to notification before withdrawing him from school???

Thank you so much. That helps!! I noticed alot of people are using the eschools. I wasn't able to regesiter in time. They wanted all my paperwork done by March 15, 2008 to enroll my son.
