Feeling Abandoned

Today I am celebrating my son's 24th birthday. Yes he is autistic I invited friends to join me and NO one is coming.  It is not like I asked anyone to pay for the food or bring an expensive gift. I am having the party at a pizza place and my sone loves old Disney VHS videos you can buy at a thrift store for like $2.00. I know sounds like a pity party maybe I am having one. Just needed to vent I guess. Who knows maybe one or two people will actually show up. Ok thanks for allowing me to vent.

I do hope someone shows up... maybe all of them will end up coming.

They sure are missing out on a wonderful party if they don't show up.

Hang in there momma.

Hi...I am new to this group..did not have much time thus morning to write an introduction, but I just read your post..and I am so sorry for the incident with the party. My son is five and my husband and I sat at many event for my son alone. So much for family is family, and friends are forever, right? Its like that in our household to this day.
