Some of my favorite memories are of things my kids said funny when they were younger. I thought it would be fun if everyone listed things their own kids said funny.

My son:
Cereal: Cereareal ("Sear-re-ear-re-ul")
Tomorrow: Tomorreow ("To-Mario")
Cinnamon: Can't even begin to spell out how he said it.
Marshmallows: Warshwallows
Disgusting: Distusting

My daughter:
Believe it or not said cereal and tomorrow the exact same way my son had said it 8 years before her, lol.
Warm: "Wom"
This last one, she still says today, and I can't bear to correct her...it is her last thing "baby." Instead of saying scroll down or up (on the computer) she says "squirrel down / squirrel up".

I miss those little things...I wish I had recorded them all, so I could hear them years from now.

Let's hear what your little cutie-patooties say!

I still catch my 8 year old saying that sometimes.
Marshmellows - Smarshmellows
My son called them Warshwellos
Spaghetti - Pasghetti
Toilet - Toyet
Movie - Mobie
DVD - DBD
VCR - BCR
My daughter said DBD and BCR
Napkin - Nakkin
Gross - Fross
Aren't they precious? I miss those things soooo much. Now when my daughter says the occasional thing wrong, I hate to correct her 'cause it just tugs at my heart!

I thought of another..... Once upon a time many years ago, I worked for a rather religous family on their farm. After some time I started dating one of the guys that also worked there. Another employee had the hots for him as well. One day I had had about enough of her drooling over him and I made the comment "She follows him around like a Beagle in Heat.  The boss was standing there and kind of snickered at my comment. The next night I was at their house for dinner and his dear 7 year old daughter asks "Mel, does Cathy still have a beetle in her meat?".   Well Lisa.... I'm not sure!!!  ;)

My 22 month old:

Movie: Mooobe
I started spelling out b.e.d.  so she wouldn't know what i said. Now she calls it "Bee-e-d"

water: wanner
elbow: belbow

and my favorite: when i was teaching her body parts I would ask where her belly was. She wouldn't know so i would tickle her and say "belly, belly, belly" Well now she thinks you have to say it 3 times. LOL! same thing with her knee!

Ah, thats the good stuff!!!

You're right... that is the good stuff. These are the things that I remind myself of when my kids (now 15 and 8) are mouthy and ungrateful. I remind myselves of the little sweeties that are inside of these growing bodies, lol.

I used to say cantelope and p..lol.

My 4 yr old says biper(diaper)
and L's usually turn into R's  for ex: Hello=ha-row; tortilla=toereea and on and on
rediculous=adicurous
discusting=ascusting

When she wakes up my hubby will ask if she had good dreams. the usual response?  "My dreams are broken/my dreams aren't working".  in related kid logic, my niece(5 almost 6) couldn't sleep her bed recently because it had nightmares in it.
