My son has been out of his dennis browne bar completely for about 4 months now. He is doing pretty good but sometimes ask about them. The only trouble we really have is finding regular shoes that fit right. His foot is so skinny @ the heal compared to the toes.

My daughter is now 13 months old and is walking all over the place. She only wears the ponsetti bar for 12 hours a day now so only bedtime. She has progressed so much. She does fall down while she is taking steps and all but I am just amazed that she is walking now at all because of the clubfeet. I thank the Lord everyday because He has blessed me so much with a beautiful healthy baby girl....and 2 very smart, handsome and healthy little boys!

My little CF boy is nearing 5 years old so he is in his bar about every other night but a couple weeks ago he saw some family videos with his curly feet so many nights he ASKS to wear his bar even when it's an off night. It's kind of sad cause I think he's afraid of them going back. I"m nervous for the up coming 5th birthday appointment because I know the dr will likely take him out of it and I"m really stressed about a relapse! oh, I was born with a RCF too so that is playing into my fears.

I thank the Lord daily for all he has done for me! Its his touch that's amazing! I give him the praise for Derrick being able to walk! Glad she is doing good! :-)

I have noticed @ night when Derrick is asleep, he curls up and his feet bottoms want to touch together, he has an appointment next week so we will see what the doc says. I will pray for you and hopefully all will go smoothly. ;-)

Thanks mommy 2 boys :) since I posted that a few monts ago kevins feet have turned for the worse! I am so distraught. I think he is re lapsing and will have to be casted this summer. What's even worse is we live in a 3 story townhouse! I am clubfoot too with back problems and my DH left us in december due to his PTSD from military service AND we have no health insurance till the VA approves his 100% disability. Stress? Yep too much.

We are ordering my son's last ponseti-mitchel brace right now. He will be 5 in February so he'll be done when he is 5 or when he out grows his shoes, whichever comes first!
