Not until November 5th. We decided on our midwife because she allows waterbirth and doesn't push interventions, and very nice. She also delivered my youngest child.

My aunt is my midwife. No brainer there.

I haven't decided yet, I've just gone to my regular physician for the blood work, but she doesn't handle obstetrics.

I'll be seeing my midwife at 8 weeks where we'll sort out doing my 1st trimester bloods and do all the paperwork etc. I've got my dating scan next friday (thurs for you girls) that I'm sooooo looking forward to. Almost everyone uses a midwife here so it was the obvious choice, I think the last article I read said 88% use a midwife in NZ.

We'll be seeing the same midwives we saw for our last pregnancy. It was a no-brainer. They do home water births, and have the best reputation in our area.

Plus, they are amazing. Midwives just do low-risk birth best.
