I was on bed rest with all 6 of my pregnancies, so I know a thing or two about it.  Anyway, I found this list of activities in my files and thought you might be interested.
 
Fun activities
 
____ Catch up on your reading
____ Watch some videos you've been meaning to see
____ Enjoy a massage
____ Give yourself a facial, manicure, etc.

 
Creative activities
 
____ Write letters, poems, or stories
____ Keep a journal
____ Create arts and crafts
____ Organize photos into albums
 

Useful activities
 
____ Do your shopping via catalog or Internet
____ Choose baby names
____ Design your baby announcement
____ Learn a new skill such as a foreign language, a computer program, or needlepoint
____ Schedule overdue appt. such as dental visits, carpet cleaning, physical therapy, etc.
____ Organize recipes, coupons, video log, menus …
____ Write a living will (designate guardians)
____ Fill out hospital pre-admit forms, new pediatrician forms, insurance paperwork, etc.
____  Pack hospital bag
____ Explore medical coverage for a home health aide, physical therapist or even a massage therapist.
____ Write out shopping lists and to-do lists for those willing to help
____ Sort through files and get rid of old papers
