Genetic Testing

Apparently it's pretty standard now to do something called genetics testing using the blood from the mother to check for abnormalities & it tells you the gender. It can be done at 10 weeks! Lol Pretty crazy early to learn the sex! Apparently a pregnant mother has more generic markers in her blood for the baby then her own! I asked for it of course, given my blood disorder that can lead to development issues.
Anyone wishing to know more about their baby should be able to ask your docs about it. Many insurance companies will pay for it too. ;)

I'm getting my test done the 13th!! I can't wait. I'm giving the results to a friend so my SO and I can both be surprised with what we are having.
