My sweet baby girl is 5 weeks old today and her daddy and I have been through a stressful time. First I was unable to breastfeed and I feel horrible this is happening because of it. After a long list of symptoms, doctors appointments, trip to the ER and a visit to the Gastroenterologists and MANY different formulas we know now that my little Bella has a server allergy to not just cows milk but all milk. Due to the severity of her allergy the doctors do not except her to grow out of it and do not want to test that theory until she is at least 5 years of age. I'm wondering if anyone has had a baby with a milk allergy, what you have done or experienced? I am also wondering if there are any suggestions when it come to vegan cheese, milk, bread, butter, cakes ..... her father and I have decided to start eating dairy free so that when our baby girl grows up it will be normal for her.
