I am down to 21 cats, at one time I had 32, no I'm not a horder, my farm seems to be a drop-off place. A lot of people don't want to live up to their responsibilities, so they dump the poor critters off at someone elses house like a piece of garbbage, and to those people I wish them all the worst out of life. I will not kill these babies, they have home here for as long as they live, they will never go hungry. They have been a great entertainment, fun to watch. Had a friend, (thought she was my friend) that kept after me to take her Himalayan, I kept telling her no because I have too many as is. Finally I gave in and took the cat because she didn't want her anymore, well, friend was real buddy buddies. Friend wanted to get rid of Pearl, because she wanted another cat, a bob tail $500 cat.  When I asked friend to help me find a home for Pearl, friend gets mad at me, and tells me to take her to the vet and her put to sleep and she would pay for it, told ex-friend, she will never be put to sleep.  I don't want long haired cats because they are too high maintenance, I don't have time to keep them groomed. Pearl is a mess, she sleeps in the sink in the laundry room some time, the faucet leaks and her fur gets wet, she jumps in the litter box and gets caked with litter, sometimes she sleeps in the litter box, for whatever her reason it. Today Pearl gets another bath, as for the balled up fur, she is just going to have to live with it for a while, can't afford to take her to get groomed, she is old and it seems she has diarrhia all the time, not too many teeth left, ex-friend knew all this and didn't tell me how she was, she says Pearl is nine years old; my bet is she is closer to 12. Ex-friend doesn't speak to me anymore, which she was using me in the first place, and as far as I am concerned she does not exist. What kind of pet do you have? Oh yeah had a skunk that kept coming up with the cats to eat, been here so long nothing scared him, I could walk beside him, just like he was one of the cats, never ever offer to spray (thank God), he lived under the house. The landlord, caught him in the barn a few days ago and killed him, I named him/her Peppe. No I wasn't going to make a pet out of it, I just didn't want to upset him/her in anyway.

We added a kitten to our furry family 2wks ago today.  He is about 10wks old now.  He lived under our shed on an off for atleast a week before we were able to catch him.  He is really sweet!  He is an American Shorthair, I believe, and he is red tabby & white.  His name is Lucky.
