Hi, ladies, I'm Nancy. we have always had cats, have 2 right now, but we are raising out 4 y/o great granddaughter, and she has been asking for a dog so today we got a rescue dog from the tornado here 2 months ago. He was supposed to be a beagle, but we think there is some basset hound in the family. She named him Otis, and he is a really sweet little guy. We know nothing about dogs, but he is apparently potty trained. (thank goodness). We are going to do some obedience training, but he has settled in well. I will be looking for advise, and hope you ladies can help.
