We have a cat. Tom. Tom was very sick for a while..was loosing his hair hardly eating and clearly out of his norm because he would only sit around and didn't want to play.
I had recently begun takin a "super vitamin" Beta Glucan. This vitamin has been shown to build immune system, help energize, prevent anxiety etc. After doing more research on the pill (which has no side effects ever reported) I found some other people who had broken up a vitamin in their pets food..so I thought why not. Was clear Tom didn't have much longer.
After a couple of weeks I noticed Toms hair growing back..(Shouldn't surpriose me because my hair and nails have been growing quickly after taking the "vitamin" but also he was playing around and in so much better health.
If anyone has a sick pet I suggest looking into this..Toms better but I still give the vitamin cause it is low cost and I want to prevent sickness. It is only under 40.00 for a bottle of 60 pills 100mg each thru the manufacturer. You can get this through gnc as well but oit is 60 pills only 10mg each and is under just 80.00 per bottle.
