Mom looking to meet new friends =)

My husband, daughter, and I have been here in Alaska for almost a year and a half and I can't believe I have yet to form any close friendships. Up until last month I was working a full-time job, but decided to quit when I found out I was pregnant. I never had time to get out and meet people =( Now that I stay home I'm bored! I love my husband to death, but I need some girlfriends. My three year old is so bored too because she doesn't have her daycare mates to play with all day anymore and mommy doesn't have any friends with kids her age. It makes me sad to watch her play by herself or pretend that her teddy bear is her playmate. Hubby is air force and we live out in North Pole. I would love to meet some other moms with kids my daughter's age.

I live in North Pole as well, but my DD is only 22 months old. I dont drive in the winter, so I DEF know how boring it gets! PM me if you'd like. Maybe we can get the girls together sometime since it seems to be warming up!
