Parent/Infant Swim Class

If I remember correctly, it's at Mary Siah... Anybody know when the next day is for sign-ups? I want to get my son in, but I hear that sign up day is HELL.... Any truth to that?

Happiness comes in small doses. It's a chocolate chip cookie, it's watching your team make the winning shot, it's a five second orgasm, it's a good cup of coffee... You just have to learn to take it where you can get it.

They have those?  What are the ages?  Do they have ones for toddlers?  Do you know how much it is?

I am sorry.  I am from Fairbanks, but I moved away, so I kind of lost contact with a lot of things.  Now that I am back, I want to do more.  While I am at it, does anyone know what the ages are for gymnastics or dance classes?

Okay, so I googled it and this is what I found out:

Mary Siah is the only one that does the infant/toddler swim classes. Child must be at least 6 months old and accompanied by a parent. It looks like classes are somewhere between $48-52 per class or per session, I'm not entirely positive. But here's the link for Mary Siah's swim lessons:

Here is the link for page with the other local pools:

My only problem is that I don't see when the registration day is...

Thank you.  My hubby and I had decided to teach my son to swim when he was six months old, but the only pool that was not crowded was pretty far away and my hubby has a crazy work schedule, so all he learned was to hold his breath.

I would like to start again.

The closest my son has come to learning to swim was the bath tub and the two times I've taken him out to the hotsprings... LOL He's a year now, I think it's time to start learning, and besides, if I wait too long I'm going to have to throw out a nearly full pack of small little swimmers. LOL

You know they have toddler/child swim every mon/wed/fri from 10-10:45 It is cheeper and your kiddo still gets the experience of being in the water and the coaching from you like you would have in a class. We have been going once a week for 3 years and now I drag two along with me and it is so much fun. I have made many friends that I see just at swimming and afterwards we usually sit and have snack at the kid tables. Check it out. And yea I have heard that sign up is crazy.

I would love to take him every mon/wed/fri morning to go swimming... but I work, so if I take him it has to be in the afternoons or weekends.

I would like to bring my son to one of these swim dates. Does anyone know how warm they keep the water? I hate going swimming if the water is to cold! The indoor pool on post is too cold for my likeing (even though they say it's heated.]
