last weekend i was able to attenid the Missouri/Iowa state luncheon and next weekend i will be going to the Kansas/Nebraska luncheon. If you have never attended an international event I would highly encourage it...its a great day to just be with other sahm's and to share ideas with moms from other chapters! i came away from the day with loads of great activity ideas and there was a wonderful and inspiring speaker from the susan g. komen foundation. the best part of the luncheon was a speaker from one of the kansas chapters...she was there to share her story of how the mother to mother fund helped her family through a major crisis...it made me feel good to know that my donations over the years really do make a difference! anyway...it was a great day and if you can ever attend a state luncheon ...please consider going!
