You know we have never tried a couples night out the reason is because it would have to take the place of our moms night out and we value that way to much to give it up. Also with a couples night out we have to find a babysitter and then pay them. Its easier just to leave the kids with hubby and go have a good time with the girls especially if your chapter can come up with creative moms night outs.
Quoting Momontherun2:actually, you can plan a couples night out and still have your regular moms night out as well...all you have to do is get permission from your big sister or primary coordinator and i have never heard of anyone being denied that...we do a couple of them per year...we just had a holiday couples night out...they aren't that well attended but whenever we have them those who do go have a great time...we went to a pretty nice local restaurant and we did it on a sunday night so it wouldn't conflict with other holiday parties...we had about 10 couples there and it was fun! it ended up being kind of expensive but for a couple of times per year it was well worth it to me...You know we have never tried a couples night out the reason is because it would have to take the place of our moms night out and we value that way to much to give it up. I think the other problem would be finding babysitters a lot of people feel like its either a waste to hire a sitter or they just dont trust anyone but family watching there kids. It is nice to know that we can do one if we want thanks for the info!
