I'd like to start a home daycare in omaha .. Is that a good idea? i need some help Gals

I imagine your first step should be looking up the licensing in the state of Nebraska to see what you would need to do to get certified. I wish you lots of luck!

There are a number of agencies in the area that you can contact that will help support you in your daycare business, with things such as licensing, receiving reimbursement for the meals you serve the kids through the USDA Child and Adult Food Program, CPR&First Aid classes, training materials, etc. You can call Provider's Network 1-402-464-4335 or 800-764-4335 for more information! :) It's a non-profit organization!

Daycares are almost always a good idea. I echo what they said, except I would contact Douglas County DHHS for the certification requirements.
