What context is it being used in? Like pendulums or what? I'm sorry :( Without a little more detail, I'm not sure.

Yes no maybe? I've heard of that in reference to a pendulum, is that what you are talking about?

Yes, No, Maybe is reference to a pendulum. You write down on a piece of paper a circle and divide it into three writing yes no maybe in each one. Hold the pendulum in the middle and ask your question. Whatever direction it starts moving in into whatever section you have written is the answer. Kind of reminds me of a magick 8 ball... :)
