First off my DD disclosed on Aug. 1,2008 that she was being hurt, since then things have changed alot. I guess you could say i have babied her alot. (She's 13) Now don't get me wrong,I've been very lucky with her. She's a very well behaved child and ALWAYS has been. 98% of the time when i tell her to not do something or to do something she does what she's told. (now to the point) In Dec. it will be 2 years that' I've been homeschooling her. When I'm not having whatever these stupid medical conditions are she sits at her desk in the office and does all her school work and does her chores before that. But when these flare ups happen i end up in bed which means I'm not in the office with her. So every time i go to grade her schoolwork there will be times where ALOT of it isn't done or it's in-complete. Usually i just give her 0% but that didn't seem to be working. So yesterday i decided to give her a actual punishment. I made her write 260 sentences saying,"I will complete my schoolwork on time, and when it is completed i will put it in the completed school cabinet." ( She got 10 sentences per missing assignment, except for history and Science. I made her do those ones.) Then i took her laptop, I -Touch and Desktop from her. I felt so bad after, was i too harsh? (keep in mind this is the first time she hasn't turned in all her work)
