Their 1st service is this Sun at 10am at Riverstone Theaters - 5 Reinhardt Parkway, Canton, GA

Very fun church to attend. Come as you are kind of church. The music is great! (but can be very loud)

That is the drawback for me especially with a little one. I did not go to our normal church service for the longest time while I was pregnant. If I can feel the music in my core, what is it doing to baby? Even when we take baby to church with us one of us walks the halls during the music time just to protect her hearing.

I wouldnt want to bring a baby in there. I do go pregnant though, I just sit in the back. It wasnt that bad this past Sun but they are moving again so I don't know how the new place will be. They already have a church in Cartersville and if you sit close to the stage you can definitely feel the bass. I would not like that right now so we sit in the back.

Its a non-denominational church. They moved to down town Canton. They don't have the room now to  have a band like they normally do so the music isn't loud anymore. Its still fun and my kids love it.

Baptist tend to have certain rules they go by depending on where you go. I grew up in a very strict baptist church. The girls were not allowed to wear pants, drinking was a big no no, no dating, no rock music things like that. Some baptist churches are not near that strict. If you watch 19 kids and counting that is exactly what our church was like! lol   I like this church because they teach out of the bible and thats it.

Ok, the no dating part ... I know where that is coming from in the Duggar family and it is NOT in the church. I know from experience.

What gets me is seeing females who grew up in a church where they were taught to not wear pants and would never wear pants and now as they are old they wear pantsuits to church. Ugh. I was taught to never wear pants to church and after a certain age wasn't allowed to wear shorts to Vacation Bible School. Even though I attend a non-denominational church I still wear skirts. Somehow it seems hypocritical and sacrilegious for me to wear pants.

Our church did teach not to date. They taught the whole courtship thing. They taught that the parents should be involved in picking out your partner. The Duggar family is into Bill Gothard and Ati. So was our family and church. Almost all of my friends from church were home schooled. I never did agree with a lot of what was taught. Like no wearing pants. Thats not in the bible. All it says is basically a woman should not dress like a man and a man should not dress like a woman. Well in bible days men and women wore dresses, now a days men and women wear jeans.  Same with no drinking. Jesus turned water into wine, the bible says that God gave us wine to make our hearts merry. It just says don't get drunk. So if you have a problem with alcohol or getting drunk then maybe you should stay away from it other wise its fine. Anyway thats my take on it.
