Its that time again! YAY! (I love fall.. can you tell?). Post any upcoming festivals and things to do here!

KidsFest
The City of Woodstock will sponsor KidsFest on Tuesday, October 31.  There will be trick or treat activities for children including moonwalks, apple bobbing, face painting and candy give away.  For more information, please call (678) 445-6518.

Berry Patch Farms
Berry Patch Farms, located in Woodstock, provides a pick-your-own pumpkin patch experience for the whole family.  A hayride will take you out to the pumpkin patch and back to get some apple cider, a homemade pie or some boiled peanuts.  Kids can enjoy the playground and baby farm animals.  For more information, please call (770) 926-0561 or visit www.berrypatchfarms.net.

Cagle's Dairy MAiZE
Cagle's Dairy MAiZE, an intricate network of twists and turns carved into ten acres of corn, will be open through November 19.  The cost is $9 per person.  The MAiZE will be open from 3:30 — 11 p.m. on Friday nights, 10 a.m. — 11 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. — 6 p.m. on Sundays.  For more information, please call (770) 345-5591 or visit www.CaglesDairy.com.

Moonlight Madness
Safe Kids of Georgia will present its annual Moonlight Madness event on Thursday, October 26, at the Towne Lake Kroger.  Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes as there will be a costume contest and numerous games for them to enjoy throughout the store.  Area firefighters will be on hand carving pumpkins and Cherokee County Emergency Services will hand out replacement smoke detector batteries and talk about fire safety.  The event will be from 4 — 7 p.m.  For more information, please contact (770) 493-4343 or visit www.cherokeesafekids.org.

Burt's Farm
Come experience the fall season at Burt's Farm in the secluded North Georgia Mountains (Dawsonville) where the only thing more beautiful than the fall foliage is the sea of orange created by thousands of Burt's pumpkins.  They will offer hayrides pulled by John Deere tractors and a gift shop full of fresh-baked goodies.  Hours are 9 a.m. — 6 p.m.  For more information, please call (706) 265-3701.

Petit Creek Pumpkin Farms

Pettit Creek's very own PUMPKIN PICKIN' PATCH located in North Georgia just minutes away from Atlanta is renowned for its large bright orange pumpkins! The fun begins October 1st and lasts throughout the month. We feel our Pumpkin Farm is one of the best pumpkin patches in Georgia! Make those reservations now! Availability is sometimes limited. http://www.pettitcreekfarms.com/pumpkinfest.shtml

Yeah, I think we are gonna do Berry patch this year. We usually go to an apple farm WAYYY up above Blue Ridge but I will have a tiny newborn this year. Not a trip I want to make. lol. I have heard Burts pumpkin patch is really cool too. I think its up in Dawsonville?

The Kidsfest thing in Woodstock on Halloween night is pretty fun too. We did that last year with Lisa and Linc And Meg and Serenity before we went TOTing and the kids seemed to have fun.

OH! And its not fall related but the American Baby Fair is cool too for all those preggo or soon to be. I'll post about that in the pregnant forum.
