By the way dont forget i do the "Passion parties" too always looking for hosts, new consultants, or people who just want to order from the catalog!!!!!  WAITING ON UR CALL!!! :)

If I had a dog I would probably try making them myself.  I did just see an ad on craigslist today for them though.  They were healthy ones, all differents shapes and sizes too.  She was selling them for $10  2lb. bag.

Yes I would BUT there needs to be something special about them (we have several little places around here that have them) and inexpensive! Most of these gourmet doggy treat places are priced way too high and therefore I wouldn't buy from them.

I don't know if I would or not.  We have a puppy and I think it'd be fun, but I guess it really depends on the prices.  If they are really high, I'll stick with the store stuff.  They're cheap and she loves them just the same.  So I guess it just depends.  I did think about getting her a doggie bday bone cake from our local pet store.  It's just like a small cookie, but we will see.  I did see something on a show yesterday (can't remember what one it was) but somewhere in CA this lady opened a business where she made all homemade food for dogs, just regular dog food, but with all real ingredients like we'd eat.  She made like mac and cheese, pot roast dinner, etc.  Then once a month she hand delivered it to her clients.  Just a thought.  But like the previous poster said it depends on your location too.  Maybe you could hook up with a local pet store and see if they'd try to sell some of your stuff there or even just advertise it there.  Goodluck. :)

I pick up home made bisquits every time I see them anywhere.  Usually at craft shows, although there is a shop here in town that sells them too.

Hi!

Consider looking at your business venture in a slightly different way. There are lots of folks who will purchase homemade dog treats, but consider working B2B or business to business. Look around your community for companies where folks can take their dogs. For example, here in Charlotte, NC there are a few coffee shops that allow you to enter with your pet and they have free dog treats in cute little buckets. Some lady the owner knows makes them for him (he pays) and he hands them out complimentary to his customers. (A permanent gig!)

You might want to do this with other businesses. I am not saying don't sell retail or F2F but consider all your options, so you are making the most revenue for your efforts. Just an FYI !

Good luck to you too!
