Fried chicken

I never cooked fried chicken before so my question is how do I know when its done?

The most accurate way would be with a meat thermometer - not sure on the proper temp, though.  I just cut mine open and see if the juices run clear.

You're welcome.  The temp for chicken is 165, by the way.

When chekcing meat be sure to check in the thickest part of meat so you know its really , and not to hit bone which can give you a false reading. 165 is the safe temp for chicken, and chicken has to be throughly cooked or it can make you sick.
