We have had several new people join this group. I want to tell them that we are so glad they have joined and that we are here to help them in any way that we can. My name is Julie and I started the group. I have six kids and I am married to a Cuban man named Lazaro that has more than his share of testosterone . lol I am also a grandmother of four. I run a daycare out of my home, but we just moved to Fl from Indiana and I have not gotten that started back up yet. I was in college to be a Nurse, and I have also stopped that for now. I love children and I love my Lord . I have a vision that I want to start a teenage ranch for lost teens. I want to get them away from the system and back into God's hands. This dream is still in thinking form so far. lol . I am 40 years old as of December. I have a few co administrators you can go to for anything as well . Right now three of them are awol. Tracy (my sister) Elizabeth from Ky and really sweet, and Tammy that we miss as well. However thank you Jesus I have one that is still sticking with me Naomi. She can introduce herself. but she is great and will help you out with anything. God Bless You all for taking this step. God will bless you for it.
ps. I would like to tell you guys to make sure you hit the view all button , once the topics are bumped off the page we are forgetting about them. I also want to tell everyone to take the quiz.......its just for fun. even if you get them all wrong , its ok its just for fun. and I really ask you to participate in the daily reads. We all need to read our bible a little everyday anyway. I will have the daily reads real real short. It will only take you a few minutes and then you can answer it and we are going to have to re name it to the weekly read anyway because it takes us all a while to get to everything. - Hi. My name is Patricia. My husbands name is Tom. We have been married now for only 3 years. We have had problems on and off, my fault mainly. I am a naturally dominating women and have a really hard time trusting him (nothing he has ever done, just insecurity). Something i really am trying to work on. I joined this group to get to know other women that are trying to improve their marriage and i would love to do that.

we welcome you. A lot of us are extremely dominant women believe it or not lol lol . and God got a hold of us. It was even hard for me to say the word Submission in any form regarding me. lol I had a real pride issue as well. It is hard, however it takes a strong woman to do this. lol God Bless You

Hello everyone :) My name is Jennifer and I have been married for almost 5 years now but have been together with my hubby for 12!
About 2 years ago or so I felt like the Lord was really putting it on my heart to let my Hubby lead. Which meant for me that I would have to step aside and let him do the leading in everything. Things are good between us but, every now and again I need to remember that he is the leader and thats the way God intends for things to be. So im thankful for this group, I know Im not alone in this walk of submission to my husband.

Hello everyone. I joined the group a few days ago and I am finally getting to say hi. Sorry. My hubby is a firefighter and I'm a work at home mommy to my 10 month old daughter, Addie. I have to leave her for a work trip next week for the first time, so I am a little nervous about that. My husband and I were recently chosen to attend a retreat our church offers, called Carsillo. My hubby just got back and he is on Cloud 9! YAY! He said it was amazing and he cannot wait for me to go. I don't know mcuh about it and he can't tell me what happens until I go next weekend. I'm dying with excitement and I can't wait to come back refreshed and talk to him about his experiences and mine. I live in Harpers Ferry, WV and it is freaking hot lately. My daughter jsut took her first steps on May 30 and she enjoys scaling anything! What else? Well, my hubby is wonderful and we feel so blessed to be surrounded by neighbors involved in our church and all submissive stay at home wives. It's awesome to have such a wonderful network of families. He is friends with all the hubby's and me the wives. The guys have game nights and the wives have mommy's night out events. Anyway, that is what is happening over here. It is great to be here and I look forward to reading more Bible passages, Miss Julie, so bring 'em on!

I am, by nature, a very dominant personality too! I just ordered Dr. Laura Schlessinger's book, "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands", whcih I have heard from several wives, has saved their marriages. I can let you know what i thought, if you would like. :)

- Hi, my name is Nikki. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jeff, for 9 years. We have four children and I am a sahm. We are both Christians, but I have been the more dominant one in the relationship up until recently. God really put it on my heart to be a more biblical and submissive wife. I don't alway achieve it but the affects have been awesome. It is wonderful to see my husband blossom and become the man he was designed to be. I am currently reading Created to be His Helpmeet. I can't wait to get to know everyone!

Hi my name is Lori and I live in Southern Indiana and I have been married to my husband for 12 years but was with hubby for 2 years before we married. We have four wonderful children three girls one boy. Ages 12-g, 11-g, 7-b, 6-g. I am a SAHM. I am Catholic.
I have been working hard on getting closer to God. I just turned catholic(which my husband was when i married him) a few years ago, so the Catholic faith is all new to me. I never really attended church before I met my husband and now I am very involved in the Church. I am on my third CRHP team and plan to be on the Continuation Committee after this retreat. I help out at the Vacation Bible School.
I hope to learn alot from this group and I hope to meet alot of you.
