Well ladies, looks like the next meetup will have to be postponed a few more weeks. I am heading into surgery this morning for the severed tendon in my foot. They are going to remove the section of tendon that is knotted and then harvest tissue from another spot in my foot to fill the void. I will be off my foot completely for close to 4 months. If I step on it before then, I can rupture the area. If anyone would like to come visit while Im down, let me know. Otherwise I will be seeing you ladies after the beginning of March I hope..
Thanks Deborah. Right this second I just want the pain pill to kick in!! I didnt take one from midnight last night til just now at 730 and man oh man does it hurt! No weight for 3weeks min. He changed the recovery situation. I go Friday to get the drain removed and the cast put on. In 2-3 weeks he will take it off and the stitches out. Depending on the pain levels and my tolerance he may let me go back in the boot and crutches but not all the time, just short distances, like at home. It can still take 6 months to a year to heal completely but I should be able to start walking within the month!!! If you get free time and want to stop, come on by!!!!!!
