Hi my name is Victoria I am engaged to marry the most wonderful man Roger in August 25 2012.I am currently living in Georgia but in April 2012 I will be moving to California  We have two children children One is my Daughter Emily who will be four in June and my son Roger who is 6 ... I had the mirena IUD put in on August 2008 a few months after I had my daughter (was told it was great BLAH ).For a few months it was OK periods for about 4 months then all of a sudden they stopped and I did not have anymore the entire time I had the Mirena Which was 3 years I had it removed August 2011 surgically because As I found out the pain I was having during intercourse was due to the fact that it was embedded into my uterus and I possibly had to get a Hysterectomy at the age of 23 ...I cried luckily I did not have to go through that..It has been 5 months since I had it removed and we are TTC out third baby..My periods have been right on time each month I track them with My monthly cycles and it has not been wrong since...So I am here to meet other who can share with me their experiences and maybe some new friends Thanks

I know you posted this while back but I just want to say hi and that I am goin on 2 years with my IUD and I've heard that some women get pregnant with the IUD did you ever hear that ?

how did yo uknow it was embedded?  i've had mine for nearly a month and have poking pain 24/7.  always the same spot in my uterus.

What part of ga are you in? Im northwest of atlanta in cartersville. Im so glad you didnt have to get a hysterectomy. and congrats on the upcoming wedding.
