I'm heather, 20 yrs old, have one baby, she's gonna be 7months on the 1st.

After DD was born I went on depo for one shot because the doctor couldnt get my mariena in...went to another doctor when my depo was thru and he got my marinea in...I spotted the entire time while I was on depo, went to er in fear I was becomming anemic and they told me I wasnt but gave me estrogen shots to make the spotting stop. Had a normal period a week or so later and at the end of my period I went and had my iud put in. Ever since then I've been spotting (again) its now been 2 months. I'm getting tired of having to either wear a panty liner or tampon....has anyone else expieranced this? What would you reccomend me to do to make the bleeding stop?

I was just talking to my MIL the other day and had mentioned how you had said 3-6months and she said she figured considering its an irritant. (atleast until your body gets used to it)

My Dr had me taking the pill the same time as having the mirena so that the spotting would stop... I spotted the whole time I had the thing
