My Mirena Story---- TMI

Does anyone who has had their mirena for 10 months still have a rather heavy period? Has anyone dealt with yeast infections? 

I had my mirena placed in May 2011.... I had fairly regular periods for a while, then about 3 months ago they were every 2 weeks.... And, I have had soooo many yeast infections since my IUD was placed. My cousin says the yeast infections are normal, but one a month??? Really?

I am new to my insurance, and I am not really sure about the process of going to see a different obgyn than the one that put it in.... I am calling about it tomorrow, but I am not sure what to say.... Other than I need to have it checked and get an appt to get some Rx meds for the yeast infections
